Hey There Wonderful, Creative You!

Today I got my shared journal dorsum from Cait Sherwood and I tin't wait to evidence y'all what she'south done! I've been taking you along on this journeying equally much every bit I can, so I've opened this sweet little package on camera so we could experience information technology for the get-go time together. (If yous can't wait whatsoever longer, just click here.)

[bctt tweet="Fine art journaling offers me a no-judgement zone to creatively limited, process, and clarify my feelings. Where else tin you do that? #nojudgmentzone"]

Art journaling for me has always been a free and open space where I tin can limited and explore my feelings without expectation. Information technology'south one of my top creative self-care exercises (forth with singing.) Every bit I've delved more deeply into book art in the last few years, withal, I've also made it a space for exploring new styles, techniques, colors, and materials. It might seem like this is a purely aesthetic or more superficial pursuit, simply I've constitute that this kind of exploration has ii benefits: one. I broaden my power to accurately express my feelings and explore my inner world, and 2. the broader my art "vocabulary," the more joy I experience in fine art making. Isn't the joy you lot feel in art making the real healing ability of art, after all?

Sharing a journal with another artist is way to expand my creative repertoire, AND share it all with another artist on the same journey. The function I dear the virtually nearly this is that Cait and I never would accept continued if it weren't for the power of this great, big lug, the cyberspace.

I promise y'all enjoy seeing the lovely changes Cait made to the journal. If you desire to see what the journal looked similar when I sent it to her, you tin can find that post hither, or what I did with her journal, yous tin can notice that here.

You can find more information about how to express and de-stress through art journaling on my classes page, and sign up for my mailing list and so you don't miss a mail, workshop, podcast, or grade!

Thanks so much for being hither!

Creatively Yours,

Amy
